This bookshop is good for a root for discount books and random stuff, although not so good if you’re looking for something specific. They mainly stock bestsellers, but have a random selection of other genres and a good few children’s books. The organisation of the shop is a little higgledy piggledy so you would definitely need to browse for awhile, but frequently you find something interesting usually at quite a low price. I seem to buy recipe and cookery books there a lot, without ever intending to buy them. At a time when new books are increasingly expensive Books Now have managed to keep their prices quite low.

Pretty much the Euro 2 of book shops with bog standard discount books. Lots of oversized trade paperbacks that wouldn’t sell. The place is also pretty cheap. Not much in the way of History/Politics/Current affairs and general non fiction. They also seem to have a huge religion and philosophy section with a lot of the books telling you how to get in touch with your guardian angel, whatever floats your boat. Books now is ok, not great and due to the lack of interesting titles I’d be heading to a a second hand shop quicker.
