Ballinteer House

Good location. Beside super value, near bus stop. Nice food but so over priced. Not worth the money. Crap atmosphere even when there’s a match on. Full of owl fellas. Don’t show the match because the older people want to watch the golf. Nice pints good price. All round, I would not recommend but Fiona is so nice!

Another local establishment in Ballinteer, another pub with the bar for the old men and a bar for the younger folk (although I admit the old men in the old man section of this pub don’t stare like they do in some pubs!). So what’s unique about this pub, well it’s got a room full of snooker tables! Some pubs just have one but this pub has its own room of well kept snooker tables that is separate from the bar areas, perfect for a game of snooker, if that’s your game! Now, I’m no expert at all but as far as I can see it’s a very clean well looked after snooker hall and the clientele are a friendly sort, you would not feel intimidated walking in here at all. Other than snooker the Ballinteer house does food which is tasty, a carvery on a Sunday and they do a big breakfast that sorts out a hangover very quickly!
