visted this bar today 23 december 2013, ordered a beef sandwhich with stuffing, no butter on bread meat was very cold and lots of fat and stuffing was just dry breadcrumbs, never again.

The basic rule of a girls’ night out is that it doesn’t matter where you go, as long as there is enough alcohol involved everyone will have a great time. Well, we booked a table in the Aurora as a starting point and were not disappointed. They have a great deal at the moment: a 3-course-meal and a glass of house wine for 24 quid. I opted for the prawn cocktail as a starter, which was good, as was the soup of the day. For a main course I had bangers and mash (or some other rather more fancy name for it) and they were amazing. My friends didn’t complain about their beef, chicken or salmon dishes either. Dessert was a fudge brownie and the only (tiny) complaint I could come up with, was the fact that there wasn’t enough of it. That is because I eat like a horse and not because the portions were in any way small– rather the opposite! The waiters were nice and attentive, but not intrusive. All in all, a great find.
