Absolutely wonderful! Robert the owner was a delight. The hostel is clean, comfortable and cozy. There was a peat fire warming the sitting area and a delightful hand made rocker next to it for a place to read. I sat outside and enjoyed the sounds of the river. The rooms are nice. We stayed here twice during our visit to ireland. The atmosphere in the hostel is relaxing and quiet. An easy walk to the pubs and the boat dock.

I swear I though the sign said «hotel» and that’s why I went. Be careful of the tricks the dark plays on you. Luckily, this is a very nice hostel with en suite rooms. Really nice staff and good ammenities.

After traveling all over the world, this still is by far my favorite hostel. We arrived late in the night and they waited for us and we were greeted with a very warm hello and tour. This place is pretty much a cottage, we stayed on the ground floor so I can’t say anything about the first floor. Doors didn’t have locks, but that wasn’t a problem. The front door has a keypad. Also security lockers were provided in the rooms. Homemade soda bread during breakfast was AMAZING! There really isn’t anything bad to say, just COME and you won’t regret it, seriously. Doolin was one of my highlights in Ireland and this hostel was definitely part of it
