I ordered the vegetable soup after all other soups were not available– you could almost see in the waiters eye that it was a bad choice but given no other soup was available I went forward. I got, in return, what seemed to be a bowl of blended potatoes with the consistently of oatmeal complete, all while packing little to no taste. In general we were ignored by the wait staff which was insult to injury. If you do attend, if suggest only ordering drinks.

I had the spicy bean burger, with a small side salad dressed with mustard vinaigrette, and some fries. I tried the brown sauce and it reminded me of a possible combination of Worchester BBQ sauce or Arby’s sauce. The bar had an overload of décor. The wait staff left us alone for the most part, i.e. did not hover,

This is a good place to grab a pint and watch a game. Service is pretty fast and there are TVs everywhere. It does get crowded, however.

What a great little find! The sign outside said authentic Irish pub food and this bar delivered as advertised. Traditional pub atmosphere, friendly bartender and good comfort food. Fish and chips to set the stage for our week in Cork!

Mixed grill platter was amazing! Came with a burger (no bread) black and white pudding, an egg, a pork chop, tomato, chips (fries), beans, and bread. Everything was delicious! Tried the local porter beer Beamish ! Very good!

San Jose, CA
While in Cork this is a good place to visit for a good meal. They serve traditional pub food that is a nice portion. The cottage pie was excellent and filling. Also ordered was the lasagna and chicken tenders, which I was told were both very good by those accompanying me.
The bar was active and seemed to have several locals in.
Service was attentive and helpful answering questions about menu items.

Cervezas (muchas, como en la mayoria de los bares) y Rugby… Este es un buen lugar para ello… También si te gusta el futbol… Aunque le dan preferencia al rugby…
La comida tiene muy buena pinta aunque no comi aquí en esta ocasión… Ya la probare.
