The English Market has made a massive effort cultivating its reputation as the foodie centre of Cork city. Places like On The Pig’s Back are why that reputation is well deserved.
I spent my student days surviving on their vegetarian pizza slices and ever time I go back to Cork I find myself back there. I recommend their tomato bread or terrine and pâté varieties. They’ve an amazing selection of cheese too.
