This was my first exposure to coffee in Cork and of all the cups I enjoyed there, which was about 8 in a couple days, this was by far the best! The place has a great little hipster vibe, but had everyday people looking dressed for work in business casual all over drinking coffees and enjoying a snack. My friend and I had latte’s, perfect foam and the espresso was delicious! You should definitely try a cup, and enjoy your time in Cork! Maybe they’ll open a roasters in Brooklyn, so I can enjoy it all the time. thanks for a great cup!

This place really has something special going for it. The biggest draw from me are the window seats. What a great people watching spot. The décor is cosy and I love the ceiling. The coffee is just right, the baristas are talented and know what they’re doing. Not much seating space but a perfect place to catch up with a friend or for quiet contemplation.

A good cup of coffee is difficult to find in Cork, let alone all of Ireland. However, Cork Coffee Roasters seems to do it right with taste and décor. It looks like your average artsy coffee shop and serves all of the standard concoctions. I had an americano and it tickled my tongue. No complaints there. Unfortunately there is no wi fi and seating is super limited. It gets crowded, but fortunately they offer to go cups. Overall, a tasty coffee spot.

Amazing, perfect and STRONG latte. Friendly staff. This place seems to be popular with the locals. Tiny inside and no wifi, strange for a coffee joint. They have a nice selection of pastries and sandwiches to purchase. Leave your credit card at home because this place is old skool, meaning cash only.

Perfect coffee hit for a Coffee-addicted Melbournian visiting Cork. Great espresso’s and a nice setup inside. Space is tight, so it would suit coffee groups of 4 or less but it just means it’s cosier!

Absolutely spectacular coffee, maybe the best I’ve tasted in over 50 years on the planet. Get some cups or bags to go, since your chances of finding a seat in the tiny space are slim.

Now THIS is a damn fine iced latte! Could be the finest java I’ve sampled since tasting the nirvana from Fernandez & Wells over in London. Easily the best coffee in Ireland. Skip the chai though; too much milk and not enough chai.

Bridge Street is small, but has a handful of locations that seem to cater for the every whim of the hipster-about-town. CCR provides the vital«cheap people-watching haunt with great coffee» function. It’s a little pokey inside, but that just means that you won’t have to steep over buggies and shopping bags on your way in. This is a coffee shop for the anti-social and all the better for it. While it might sound like this a place for grumps and grouches, its still a great coffee shop. Their own blend of coffee is excellent, they’ve a great selection of nibbles and the service is friendly. What more could you want?

excellent place for a coffee, always a stack of newpaper’s to browse through and as other reviewers have said a quirky vibe, almost like a pacific coast coffee shop… the coffee itself is strong and even though they have a number of different blends for sale as bean or ground, the shop only brews one… gets packed at the weekends…

Shown it by a friend and now its tradition to head down and pick one up on the morning before we start into work. As with most things Cork and one of the things I love most about the People’s Republic, Cork Coffee Roaster’s is a fantastically friendly place. The décor is quirky and weird and not something I would ever have chosen. My friend, being a vertiable native to the city, always has a chat with the server, while I play with the word magnets on the back of the the coffee machine. I am like a child pre-caffeine sometimes, you want to see me but not hear me. Creating a bizarre sentence in magnets before leaving is a must. All this is great you say, but what about the coffee? I’m not he biggest coffee fanatic in the world, but I like a good cup and this place has always delivered. Delivered me from fatigue and delivered me into the world of satisfaction. You can also get your own fresh ground here, if you fancy like?

It is the only place in Cork that does decent coffee. In fact it is one of only a handful in Ireland that does decent coffee. Anyone who has lived in Melbourne or Sydney can testify to that. Alot of the cafes down under do not hire Irish people to make coffee as they have a really bad reputation with regards to making coffee and basically not having a clue. So it is great to see anIrish owned company having some passion in this area and delivering with a great product-thank god.

CORKCOFFEEROASTERS Super Funky… Super Cool… So says the current Bridgestone Irish Food Guide in talking up Cork Coffee Roasters in Bridge Street. Not too sure about Funky and Cool, words from the middle of the last century, the fabulous Funk Brothers out of Detroit and maestro Miles Davis with the Birth of the Cool. But the kids in Bridge Street were friendly and helpful and the coffee was excellent. The view out of the window wasn’t bad either, Shandon ahead in brilliant sunshine. But it was cool outside!

Just added Cork Coffee Roasters as I love their coffee and the little café! Mapping it went a bit awry though — sorry. It is in the wrong place. Do drop in for a coffee if on Bridge Street near Vibes & Scribes!
