Want the best steak sandwich in a South Dublin pub? This is THE place. Amazing! Been like this now for at least the last 5 years. And the fries you get with them? So tasty. My friend ordered the beef burger too. Superb. Love going up to The Club. Friendly, laid back atmosphere. Plenty of seats. Nice staff, great food. For those who wonder about pub toilets, don’t worry — kept spic and span! Had our two(huge) Mains, and 6 or 7 drinks between us.(Bulmers + Vodka&Tonic Water) € 61 — more than reasonable. Pleasure as always.

Super traditional place in Dalkey. The decoration inside is amazing with it high roofs and lovely wall-paper. I was there for lunch and it was really good. Traditional pub food — Turkey, Beef, mashed potato — and really delicious. TV screens everywhere for sports fans!

I have been here a number of time. It is a little on the dark side but quite large with nooks and crannies to be away from the crowd. Food good and reasonable with plenty of choice. I had before Shepherds Pie but not on the menu today. Soup of the Day 4.25 with fresh brown soda bread. Parking on street or they have their own car park across the road. Large TV for sporting events. Friendly.

This is a confusing establishment. It defies all rules of social grace and decorum, as well as seriously flying in the face of the cool factor. It SHOULD be an old man pub… dark panelling, old bar staff, old fashioned in general, you get the picture. Even the clientele would suggest such a conclusion. However, it’s also one of the most popular drinking spots for the young ‘uns, from school age upwards. How odd. And it’s not like it’s all that nice. I mean it’s grand and everything, but it’s nothing special. And the talent’s seriously dodgy, unless the older man thing is your style. And even then, you’d have to be thinking geriatric. All in all, an interesting little microcosm of south Dublin.
