Kealy’s of Cloghran

Now a 4 star from me is saying a lot but there is a lot to say. Its located beside dublin airport so great spot yo go before a flight or afyer a flight. The food service is amazing like a proper army of waittesses and waiters and they are ine of very few places to embrace technology for oredering using a local in house app to place the orders on their phones which go straight to the kitchen.
The staff are on top form and the speed is lightening uve barely finished ordering and its on ur table thebhistle and bustle of the place is great with a wude variety of drinks and food on offer altho the menu is on a4 pages on a clip board u can beat the portion sizes and the savoury freshness of every meal.
I haf a steak sandwhich wrapped in a fresh bap and chucky chips which wer no messing cooked to perfection as chucky chips can sumtimes be hit and miss but this time deffo a hit

Kealy’s is my go-​to place for pub grub in Swords, situated on the Swords Road, just before the airport, it has plenty of parking out back and you’ll find a warm welcome inside. There’s plenty of seating in the part that serves food and the lounge next door is usually quieter for those who want to while away some time with a drink or two.
The food is simple and hearty, portions are big — you won’t go hungry here! It’s always busy with a buzzy atmosphere but they’ll manage to fit you in somewhere. The dips and sauces are all home-​made and delicious — the garlic and curry my personal favourites. If you want a no-​nonsense, hearty feed and a pint in a casual setting and don’t want to pay over the odds for it, then Kealy’s will not let you down.

Have lived locally to Kealy’s for a while now and have promised myself to check it out sooner rather than later. Went in for lunch today and ordered the roast beef sandwich which was accompanied with chips and salad. The menu for a bar, is impressive. A lot of bases covered and not crazily expensive. My meal was under 9 quid so for all I got, happy days.
I will say that the chips and salad weren’t the very best I’ve had, lacked flavour and a bit of imagination but the beef was delicious, tender and moreish :)

This was a great place to grab a bite to eat either before or after your flight from/​to Dublin airport. It’s an Irish pub but breakfast is served until noon. Prices are very reasonable. We got the Full Irish breakfasts, and it was tremendous! There were all sorts of processed meats, including black & white. The bread was toasted to perfection. Irish butter is so tasty. And the baked beans and poached eggs were filling. Staff was very friendly.

Our tour guide stopped in to Kealy’s as we were on our way back through Dublin but needed to kill some time before we went to Newgrange. So a leisurely lunch was what needed to happen!
First off, this place isn’t what you think of as a pub. It is modern inside with sleek furniture and cool rusts, golds, and black color scheme. Tons of people were there having work lunches. I ordered the seafood chowder which comes with two slices of brown bread. It was rich and creamy and made my sore throat feel so much better. Our service was a bit slow but I think that is because it was super busy and not a lot of people were working. Also I never did quite get the hang of how to get servers’ attention in Ireland. So it could have been my bad.
It seems that later in the evening this place may get more loungey? There were advertisements of live music and hen/​stag parties, etc. Thus the more swank atmosphere would totally make sense.
Overall a good lunch and a nice spot, especially if you work near or are going to be near Dublin airport.

Great spot for food near the airport. We all had the fish and chips and it was wonderful. Staff were friendly and there was a nice ambience to the place. Good quality food at a decent price and good service. That about sums it up for me.
