The pizzas here are really good. They are authentic, rustic, and interesting beyond the usual Irish generic run of the mill. So, the cooking is good. The reason that I have given this 4 stars rather than 5 is because I often order delivery(through just-eat) and their delivery pizza is utterly random. I’ve binned a few as inedible because delivery took so long. I understand that this is probably the fault of the delivery company rather than the restaurant. But I’m still paying for inedible pizza with missing sides. IMO this is the best pizza place in Bray, just eat IN, don’t go the just-eat route.

I used to visit this place about 20 years ago when I lived in Bray. My grandson and I were in Bray for the day and I decided I must try it for lunch and yes it was still there. In fact it had not changed one bit, I would not be surprised if I was sitting in the exact same chair from the past. It could do with a bit of a face lift. That is where the complaints stop. They still do the best pizza I have ever had in Ireland or on any travels. The homemade ice cream has made my grandson a fan. The staff were friendly and had coloring pencils and paper in front of the little man before he was sitting. The young lady serving us went out of her way to make sure the little man was included in the ordering and he was charmed. I promise it wont be another 20 years.

Evenings spent picking at ice-cream and crepes, chatting, giggling and just waiting for the day when we’d be allowed into a pub(or looked old enough to even chance it). These are my memories of Pizzas ‘n’ Cream as an excited 14 year old. Since then I’ve graduated to munching on pizza and laughing about the days when we used to wile away the hours talking about boys and dreaming of nightlife. Enough about me though, let’s talk about PnC, as it’s known to locals. It’s casual and friendly but is also atmospheric, comfy and warm, unlike a lot of ‘casual’ joints. It really is all things to all people — suitable for children’s parties, dates, teenage gatherings, old gal’s reunions and 20 something get-togethers. You can stop in for a quick coffee, a dessert or a pizza feast. There are a lorra pizza toppings to choose from as well as gourmet options and some tasty variations like pizza rolls and pizza sandwiches. Pizzas are made in front of you and ice-cream is also homemade. Special offers available during the day — check out the blackboard at the door. PnC is down the Albert Walk just opposite Brat DART station so have a wee peek in next time you’re strolling by.
