I’m just looking at this based on the photos, I will visit it but I’m not looking forward to it based on what I see here. It looks cluttered with just a few old racks holding boxes of chocolates and cards pinned to the wall. Let’s see what happens after I’ve visited…

There is something decidedly quaint about this place right down to the fact that they didn’t seem to have a cash register, my bill was written down on a piece of paper just as I remember the local corner shop did when I was a lad… it added to the overall ‘old-​world’ feeling the place has.
It is a sweet shop, coffee shop and icecream parlour all in one… it sells some of the nicest chocolate (hard to go wrong with Leonidas) and ice-​cream around — The Ice-​cream is Mauds, made in the North somewhere and if you follow my lead and have the caramel nutella mix I promise you you will not be disappointed.
well worth a visit!
