Enjoy the stunning views from the promenade. There are ample parking spaces. Get an ice cream and relax on the Bray Sea front.

Bray promenade is highly recommanded if you’re looking for a walk along the seaside includes fresh air and nature. Rainy, cloudy or sunny, this promenade is a great place for walking, jogging, gaming football, eating icecreams or fries no matter your mood of the day. The seafront ’ s view is relaxing and active. It seems that in summer time you’ll find gigs and entertainments(I haven’t had the chance to stay for an event there) The promenade leads you to the Greystone hill that I recommend as I well ! You’ll feel relax and connected to the nature which is always good for our physical and physical wellness :-) Bray will offer you a nice and relaxing day off — but this is not the place you’ll have to go if you’re looking for sandy beaches — just one with stones ;-)

During the summer this is a great place and has plenty to offer. The pubs are busy and there is plenty of places to enjoy some nice food. The festival each year seems to be getting better and better and would be a nice day out if you have kids. On the flip side though this is one cold and windy place during the winter months.

Great time spending activity. 6.2 km from Bray to Greystones. I’ve met few cyclists, but I’d not advise to anyone cycle there. There’s nice distance from Greystones side, but that’s only it. Views are gorgeous. Love Dart passing every few minutes. Just great walk. Advise you to have thick sole shoes/boots as it gets rocky.

Bray has really improved lately. Obviously the sunny weather helps but new restaurants and bars have opened and I think they are really making a great effort. The seafront is kept really well and it’s a lovely place for a walk or to sit on the grass and watch the world go by

Some brave tourists may prance around in bikinis on Bray ‘beach’ but locals have long accepted that Bray doesn’t really have beach. It does have a vast collection of stones to rebuff the ever creeping tide but to call it a beach would imply there’s a bit of sand in there too. That’s not to say that Bray’s Victorian promenade doesn’t have many purposes — it’s the perfect place for a stroll, a game of Frisbee, a jog or a knock around with the football(though officially I think this is frowned upon). The seafront also becomes a concert venue in the summer, hosting open air concerts on its iconic bandstand. Funfairs, carnivals and markets invade the seafront’s grassy patches during Bray’s Summerfest. On any sunny day, the promenade and the pubs, ice-cream shops and amusement centres that face it, are a hive of activity. If you do go for a wander along the promenade, then make sure you make it to Bray’s little harbour to the north. There are some beautiful view s here at sunset and you can meet Bray’s swan population(though don’t venture too close!). Bray has popular rowing and fishing clubs and you might even catch the odd surfer bobbing out on the water, praying for waves. In short, Bray ‘beach’ has many wonderful things to offer, but sand is not one of them!
