Butler’s Chocolate Café

I like Butler’s as you get a free chocolate with each drink purchased but the drinks only come in one standard size, you can’t get a large cup here. This particular branch is kinda small and gets very busy but the staff are quick and efficient so the wait isn’t too bad. Not many seats though and as it is busy I always seem to get my coffee to go from this one. Great selection of chocolates to buy as well as cakes and treats.

You know what, Butler’s is Butler’s and it’s basically always nice! This is probably the best spot in the Blanchardstown Centre to get a coffee in my opinion. Their coffee is good and generally consistent. I love that they give you a free chocolate with any of their coffees, and that every so often when you use your loyalty card you end up getting a freebie.
The only drawback here (and with all of the Butler’s Cafes, now that I think of it!) is that there’s limited seating and it’s rare you’ll come in to find a free table! I’m definitely guilty though of meeting friends for a coffee here & in other branches and hogging a table for an hour so I suppose I can’t complain… :)

It can be difficult to get a seat inside. If you end up in a seat just outside the door you can do some serious people watching!
The staff are pleasant and it’s always getting to choose your own free chocolate to go with your coffee.
For me — Americano in the cooler months and their iced mocha when we actually get some sort of Irish summer.

I always like the service at Butlers chocolate café. Just today I found weird how they served me. The espresso macchiato was not good as usual. It is still my favorite caffe. I recommend this place because the quality is really good. They make the best caramel macchiato ever!

I love Butler’s as it’s a real taste of Ireland through coffee. One of my favorite things about Butler’s is that with every drink you purchase, they give you a free piece of chocolate. Not just your average chocolate, but some lovely gourmet chocolate. It makes the experience so much more enjoyable. Who doesn’t love something sweet? I do wish there was a bit of extra seating as it would be nice to sit and have a coffee after some hard shopping rather than a walk and drink.

A cookie hot chocolate with cream from this place brings this wonderful nostalgic feeling to me. Especially since i’m usually with the other half who has been my friend since childhood. The Butlers in Blanchardstown is somehow different to the ones in the city centre. Still delicious but somehow just not as good. Maybe they do something slightly different, maybe the hot chocolate is just not the same when you’re stepping out into a warm shopping centre instead of a cold street. This place is a 5 by any other standards but comparing it to other Butlers i had to knock it down to a 3!
