La Bucca

Ohhhh this was very good! A nice mixture of starters, pastas, pizzas, burgers, salads, desserts, and alcoholic beverages. It was late when we arrived, and miracles — we got seated without a reservation. I would say it was more a fusion of cultures, not «Italian» in the purest sense of Italian (as Americans tend to think of Italian — and I totally get that Italian foods vary wildly depending on the regions of Italy.). The calzone we had came with a salad topped with jalopenos and sides of sour cream and guacamole. The spinach tortenelli ?? (Forgot the exact name) pasta was tasty! Best of all, many of the entrees came in a smaller portioned «starter» size as well as the larger entrée size. This is a nice looking casual restaurant, accessible by lift as well as by staircase to the second story location. We already want to come back next time we are in the area.

Fantastic all round restaurant. Great for families and good choice of menu. No matter what day or time you go here, you get competent, fast service and are well looked after. Defintely one to visit!
