Pretty cheap if you want a quick snack/​dessert. If you love tofu, I recommend trying tofu fa here. You can order it hot or cold, so I say order it depending on the weather at the time. You can slurp it right up without the spoon, silky smooth. I added ginger sugar water to mine, you can also do brown sugar, depending how sweet you want it.
The lines may seem long but there’s quick service here there’s a person taking the order then others prepping the food for you in a heart beat. They had the orders ready before you would pay too. Excellent service here :)
There’s not much seating in the area either, it’s literally eat and go ASAP. Just expect to stand most of the time you’re eating at this joint. Other than that they’ll have random seating with no tables, so try not to spill hot tofu on yourself.

This is my go-​to place for tofu fa in Hong Kong. You can order it hot or cold. I think it was $ 8 if you eat there, or $ 9 for take out.
The tofu fa is really soft, and tastes fresh. I think it could be a bit silkier to reach that ⁵⁄₅ perfection. But aside from that, I think this is a solid ⁴⁄₅ or 4.5÷5.

This place is not overrated at all. Lives up to all the hype — I didn’t even know there was a hype for this restaurant until I got back home and looked it up online!
FOOD
Silky smooth tofu, you really can’t ask for more. I chose the hot tau fu fa and I was blown away. It was only $ 9. I had the tau fu fa at Lamma Island and I must say that this store blew those ones out of the water. The tofu would just melt in your mouth. I want another bowl just thinking about it. You can add more brown sugar or ginger sugar water if you like your tau fu fa to be a bit sweeter. The ginger infused sugar water gives the dish a bit of a kick — you can barely taste the ginger but it adds some spice to the tofu. They also sell bottled soy milk so you can get one for the road.
SERVICE/​ATMOSPHERE
Quick turnaround and service. They served the tofu before I even got a chance to pay. Efficiency at its finest. There is limited seating so don’t expect this to be a place where you can sit and chat. The guys were friendly and were helpful when I asked for recommendations.
Will definitely go again — this time I’ll be sure to bring a few bowls back home.

Don’t believe the hype… they are not as good as everyone says. Don’t come to all the way to taipo to try this…

Very smooth and very delicious! I like coming here for a quick snack whenever I come to Tai Po. (There is another tofu fa place nearby that’s just as good too!)
