Watei is a casual dining restaurant chain with affordable prices. We stumbled upon this branch while we were on our way to the Wong Tai Sin Temple. As the name suggests, Watei offers customers Japanese cuisine. The menu has something that pleases every palate; including sushi(68 hk dollar /8 €, 10 pieces), stone pot rice, noodles(+ 38 hk dollar/+ 4.5 €) or why don’t u indulge urself in a steamy hot pot lunch.
I ordered the grilled mackerel(58 hk dollar /+/-7 €) which was too salty for my taste buds. Conclusion: Watei was just another mediocre Japanese restaurant…
