Stayed here for four nights during my HK trip. It is located in the heart of Kowloon and the rates for the rooms are fairly competitive! It is right across the street from several 24 hour cafes and there are two 7 elevens within a five minute walk. You can literally step out of the hotel and start shopping for anything such as jewelry, clothes, food, drinks, etc. +++ Staff is very friendly here. If you need an early check-in, don’t be afraid to ask! The rooms come with free bottle(s) of water daily so you save some money there. The hotel itself has a beautiful lobby and ground level pond(water feature with koi). It’s also one of the nicer hotels on the street that have high floor rooms with a view. There is a higher-end Chinese and Japanese restaurant on-site if you like — which I didn’t try. The two most important things about this hotel is the LOCATION and FREE Wi-Fi! — Rooms are a bit aged and you can tell by the paint or lack of paint on the walls. The floors look dated and the restroom looks like it hasn’t been renovated since 1998. The room size is decent compared to other hotels and especially those in Taiwan(which are puny). If only they would remodel the rooms a bit!

This is a beautiful hotel! It is located in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui in Kowloon. It is located only 15 minutes from Hung Hom Train Station and Kowloon Station. Inside the hotel, there are three elegant restaurants, a bar, a gym, and health spa. We were on the 15th floor and we booked a room with a queen bed with a roll-in for third person. It was spacious, but when the roll-in was opened, we couldn’t walk through to get to the restroom. We had to either climb over the bed or squeeze through the the 1 foot gap between the foot of the roll in and the wall. When we first checked in, I saw hair on the floor in the restroom. I was slightly disgusted by this as I KNEW it wasn’t my own hair. I mean, how hard can it be to quickly wipe the floor of the restroom to get rid of the hair? The toilet pressure was also VERYLOW. I had to hold down the toilet lever until it flushed all the way. I was very scared that it was going to overflow. Also, the drain in the shower was clogged so I was showering and the water was accumulating at my feet and took a good 5 – 10 minutes for it to drain all the way. Wifi there is awful, the connection is sooooo SLOW and we were only allowed 2 devices to be on the wifi network even though we paid for 3 people to stay in the room. Overall, I would stay here again simply because it is conveniently located near multiple 7 – 11, McDonalds, Watsons, and the train station.

During my recent trips to Hong Kong, I’ve alternated between staying at this hotel and BP International on nearby Austen Road. I booked online at Expedia for the first time in one of these trips. I picked this one because it was only $ 5 more than BP. If the price difference was much greater, as oftentimes it’s been in the past, I would have picked the other place. It’s a great location if you like the local scenery where you can just go downstairs and there are plenty of local noodle shops serving roast goose and other such delicacies. The rooms are nice, clean, and decent size(not as small as the Kowloon Hotel which is more expensive due to its location but became too well-known for small rooms). This hotel has a coffee shop and both a Chinese and Japanese restaurant onsite. I’ve never gone to any of time during the three times I’ve stayed here(including this recent I’ve), but it’s a convenience for those who consider such things. Staff is overall overall very nice. Housekeeping starts making the rounds after 9an so be sure to turn on the«do not disturb» light if you want to sleep in or leave the room late. Also, unlike my last stay here in late 2011, there’s now free internet for guests. I’d say four stars for the hotel itself plus half star for the location.
