The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Jockey Club Auditorium

Before becoming an actual polyu student, I was already kind of familiar with the campus and would visit some parts of the campus regularly…
… you’ve guessed it, it’s the Jockey Club Auditorium.
JCA is perhaps the best auditoriums you can find in all the universities in Hong Kong not least because of its relatively younger history, but there is a certain sense of glamor that the décor gives whoever that walks in the auditorium; other university auditoriums just could not have imitated that. Other than the glamorous décor, the seats in the auditorium are also amongst the most comfy when compare with the seats in other university auditoriums. Well padded with soft cushion and lined with velvet, I think it is just wise of Poly not to hold classes in the auditorium early in the morning as this could only be the 2^nd best place other than the bed at home to have a good night (or morning?) sleep.
Despite the fact that the side wings are actually quite narrow and the back stage has really narrow corridors; disregarding the fact that elevator in the back stage takes ages to move a few floors and there is basically no room for people to warm up near the changing room, the stadium itself is quite a good place for both performer and audiences; actually just forget what I have just said about the glamorous décor and the comfortably seats, the convenient location and the accessibility already makes JCA pretty hard to beat.
