Smile Yogurt & Dessert Bar

Smile Dessert and Yogurt Bar sells, well ice cream! When you get the the store, the first thing that came to my mind was — yellow. It was yellow in every corner I looked.
They have about 10 model selections on their sign and oh my, are they beautiful or what?! My friend and I were thinking, man, models always look nice, but they never make it look that way in real life. Might as well try it out though, since we’re here. There was no line either.
The average price of Smile Yogurt & Dessert bar is about $ 70ishHKD, so that’s about $ 10 Canadian, so yes it is fairly pricey. We got the Mango Fever and the model honestly looked lovely. The lady called us for our ice cream and OH MY GOODNESS, I swear they used the 3D printer because it looked IDENTICAL.
As for the taste, there was certainly a lot of mango in there, but for some reason, it just didn’t taste as fresh as the ones we eat over here. The ice cream was smooth, but it lacked a bit of oomph and taste.
Overall, beautiful design, but man, it’s expensive and the taste, well just mediocre.

Mango fever is my favorite. Everytime I’m in Hong Kong I will have to have smile yogurt at least once! Don’t ever miss out on this goodie if you like mango!

Came here on my most recent trip back to Hong Kong in 2014 and found this place while shopping at k11. Walked in and was greeted kindly and then I saw the wide selection that Smile had to offer me. That put a smile on my face. Totally recommend anyone in the k11/​Tsim Sha Tsui area to try this especially if you are travelling. The dessert is not overpowering in sweetness and on top of that, the dessert is artistically just as good as the dessert itself. I almost didn’t even want to eat it! Will definitely be coming back here on my next trip back.
