A Really Cute, Asthetically pleasing little café. Definitely don’t come here for the food. But, the crepes do satisfy a sweet tooth! Come here to spend some quality chat time with your mommy or BFF. Then go buy one of their beautiful dresses next door.

bread n butter café is a cute little café at PMQ. It’s joined to the bread and butter store, which does female fashion and has a small section for interior deco and another selling potted plants, and the café itself only occupies the area all the way at the back so it doesn’t look like much on the outside. The interior of the café is really pretty — one side of the wall is filled with artificial leaves and blooming flowers, creating a nice display of greens with a dash of color. The pink, white and light grey floor tiles and the row of pink patchwork single-sweater sofas give the café a refreshing feel. It’s a very girly place — guys, you’ll feel a little out of place here! The café serves a simple fare like crepes, desserts, drinks and from 2−6pm, an afternoon high tea set. It’s not a big café, so there are only two waiters, both of which are friendly and polite. They have a good variety of both sweet and savory crepes, though there’s a larger variety of sweet ones. My mother and I decided to share the ‘crêpe complete’, which is a crêpe with ham, cheese and spinach. We also got a hot latte and a lime mojito. The crepes came really fast. It’s one neat triangle, and it was darker than most crepes, and looked a little burnt. It came with an egg placed on top. The crêpe itself was surprisingly crispy, and on the whole was actually quite salty — it must have been the ham and cheese. I would have preferred if its texture was more moist and soft. The table next to us ordered a dessert crêpe, and theirs didn’t look crispy or burnt, so perhaps it’s just the savory crepes that are made to be crispy. My lime mojito was really refreshing and had a good amount of a minty feel. The hot latte was pretty strong, and was adorned with beautiful latte art but unfortunately wasn’t hot enough. I would recommend coming to this café if you’re at PMQ — the seating is comfortable and the drinks were good, though the crêpe wasn’t as delicious as I hoped it would be. But if you’re not at PMQ, I wouldn’t say it’s worth it to make the trek here!
