Satay King

One of the older chains in Hong Kong (it’s been around since I was little), Satay King has been consistently producing decent food for quite a few decades. From the name you’d think they offer Southeast Asian food — but in fact their menu is quite localized, and they have a lot of fusion items. By fusion, I meant any east/​SE asian food fusing together ;)
Most of their staples on the menu, as far as I remember, are so-​so, but their white curry definitely stands the test of time. It’s usually what I get and I’m almost afraid to try anything else. On the other hand, where’s the satay? There seems to be a lack of satay on their menu despite the name.
As far as décor goes… it’s on par with café de coral or Maxim’s. Sloppy service, plastic booths… you know the drill.
