Having just returned from Buenos Aries I was actually craving a proper steak. I found this restaurant perfectly decent, especially considering that it was located in the heart of Ex-​Pat Hong Kong. Agree that the tables are too close together, but so are those In Parisian cafes. With that in mind, I definitely would recommend this restaurant to those with a meat (and Malbec) craving

In short, both our steaks were tough & chewy. It tasted okay. We mentioned to the waiter & he said that’s what Argentinian steaks are like — can’t really tell since I don’t have much experience. If you don’t like tough steaks, suggest you skip this place.

The aroma of finely seared steak tempted us in off the rainy streets. Some solid south american succour was in order…
Pampas wouldn’t be the most romantic setting for a date, but, for us old marrieds, we could pick and choose from about 3 conversations near us. Very entertaining, if depressing.
The beef might be free range, but the customers are battery farmed!
I’d say less than 30 cm between tables, and no way to get up and out if your chair without disturbing the diners around you (my elbow was also banging the wall every time I cut my steak).
