Yeah, it’s that type of Olé Timey Candy Shop.

What a great little candy gem!
I don’t often have a sweet tooth, but when I do, I want some options. Mr. Simms has plenty of options for any inkling you might be having when it comes to sweet things. «Sponge Candy» aka «Honey Comb» is my personal chocolate pleasure and it is not easily found in the world, but I was so thrilled to run across it at Mr. Simms. Not only was it there, but it was really quite fresh. Not homemade on sight (which would have been the ultimate surprise, which gives Mr. Simms a 7 out of 10 on quality), but really very fresh regardless. Fresh becomes very key with the sponge portion of this candy if it is not there.
I walk by this candy shop every day on my way to the gym. Now the gym and candy are counterintuitive to one another I know, but if you are going to eat a calorie, make it a good calorie worth your splurge. Sponge Candy at Mr. Simms is now my occassional splurge.

A British candy shop that can’t be missed when you pay Lan Kwai Fong a visit. When i walked into this shop, I felt like a kid walking into candy land with walls of candy and chocolate and jelly beans. I loved the wooden décor here, it gave off a very old british styled atmosphere. The chocolate bars were some of the most beautiful crafted chocolate I’ve ever seen. The price may be a bit high (tourist attraction), but nevertheless quite a fun experience. If I only had known that they don’t have Mr. Simms in the bay area or more like in AMERICA, I would have bought more chocolate bars back from this shop… They only have 2 international store outside of the UK and they are in Singapore and Hong Kong!

This British traditional confectionery shop has opened this sweets shop in Hong Kong in Oct 2014. With a lot of choice — from candies to chocolates, packaged /​self-​selected, fudge etc. the only thing is… There is no packaged gummy bear… T_​_​_​T
