This is probably hands down the most popular vegan café in Hong Kong, at least from my observation. And it’s among my my Top 5 Restaurants for Eating Vegan/Gluten-Free in Hong Kong.(Link in the end) Mana serves extremely fresh and healthy food in their menu, from ready made salad, to gluten free flats(made from buckwheat I believe) to power smoothies, drinks, burgers, fries, and to the raw vegan desserts and cakes. Anything you can think of or crave in the fast food world, they have their healthy version. Their menu does not have a super wide variety of choices in each category, but the best part is you get to customize your salads and flats all you want, which a lot of other similar restaurants don’t offer. For example the salads: The way you order is you choose a size and you get to choose 4 or 5 bases from their ready made salads and add your additional toppings with extra costs. My favorite combo is the kale salad with lemon dressing and spinach salad with toppings of avocado, grilled portobello mushroom(my fave! :P), sprouts or rocket. They can jam pack their small container to the fullest and it can make a very satisfying meal! On the side note, their raw vegan gluten free coconut cake is to die for! Don’t pass by if you happen to see it still being available on a busy night. After you order and pay they actually give you a beep for when the food is ready so you know hen to come and pick up. That’s why they are pretty efficient with a busy business. How cool is that! My only complaint is that not all items they offer are vegan and sometime they don’t make it explicit. Their spinach salad would have cheese in it so you need to be careful when ordering. My ratings: Flavor — Environment —(Filled with amazing health-conscious people like you!) Price —(Around $ 100HKD for a healthy and satisfying meal.) On the side note, one of the staff told me just the other day that they offer a 5% discount if you bring your own container. Another way to get discount is to join their membership. $ 500HKD for the membership card and there will be a $ 400 balance in your card. You get 5% discount forever. I don’t know if that’s a good deal… But they do have member events as a benefit. Location —(in the heart of central SOHO and very easy to find,) Vegan/gluten-free options: Overall —(What’s not to love?) Recommendation: Salad & Vegan Raw Coconut Cake See relevant photos and the full list of my Top 5 Restaurants for Eating Vegan/Gluten-Free in Hong Kong:

Been here three times and don’t really know what’s the hype about this place. Maybe it’s because my unresolved health issues, but the food here makes me feel sick. I prefer nood and Fresca because their food is actually yummy, and most importantly, makes me feel good.

Awesome place! The food is so delicious! It’s a must try! The road it’s on has so many bakeries and cafes to chill out on but this has to be one of the best!

This place is so good. Nutritious slow food. There flatbread gluten free wraps are amazing. There fries and garlic-naise is super tasty. They are well Known for there smoothies and juices and they have a Great raw /vegan/gluten free cake selection. We got two coconut truffles which were Yummy. The whole place is designed about recycled material which is a really nice thought it makes you feel conscious about the environment. Really vigorous recycling and composting program and an awesome water fountain which is where you get your actual drinking water from.

Food is good but service is terribly slow. They also leave my box of salad outside(not refrigerated for 10 mins) in this humid weather. I was about to cancel but then they pinged me. Mind you the 10 mins is with no one else waiting for an order. The staff are on their phones… For this price and service may as well go elsewhere. The quality has gone with the salads and they are now skimping on quantity as well. The prices have gone up but my box is emptier than before???

What to say about Mana. Healthy. Organic. Natural. Fantastic quality in food. Be willing to pay the monies! Lol. Your body will thank you. Lunch hour is hectic! If you can have a late or early lunch you can avoid this madness. They are still fairly fast in getting orders out. I’ve had several mistakes with my orders though so just make sure to check it before you leave. Price changes in effect! Currently, 130 for large salad(used to be 100), 78 for small salad box. They pack it in though so you definitely get more than enough! Large can feed you for two meals or share! Now accepting credit cards with a 100Hkd minimum.

It’s pretty tasty despite being so healthy. You pick a half or full wrap and 4 toppings. Toppings range from mushrooms, sundries tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, avocado, hummus, etc to name a few. Some of the items is cold(ie lettuce/cucumbers) but some of the items can be warm like the mushrooms so you are not just eating a cold wrap. It’s delicious!

This place is always hopping, busy, with a long line no matter what time you come! Even knowing this I can’t help but come back every time I want to eat salad. And their flats are off the hook when you make your own by choosing only the ingredients you love. My coworkers are never surprised when I tell them I’m getting this for lunch. #manahigh

First time here and my, I love it! Got the salad to try. Toppings were: kale, chickpeas, spinach, and pumpkin seeds. Extra toppings: haloumi cheese, avocado and soup I inhaled it!!! Need to come back for the famous wraps. They also have a little selections of other fun little stuff like HK made chocolate, Puka tea and my fave Indian incense sticks I have to be back for. Overall, a great find!

Located in the concrete jungle of Wellington Street, the place has a relaxed feel about it, especially with a small outdoor seating area(this is rare in this part of Central!). It is a vegetarian restaurant, but it is more than just a vegetarian restaurant. It is more a statement of a life style that emphasize on health and the environment. I had a DIY wrap. The portion was enormous. Will order a half size instead of full size next time. The wrap was delicious, with 4 choices at $ 85. There are also Signature wraps and veggie burgers to order. The soup was tasty and good portion. I might have given the place a higher rating if I were not such a carnivore.

I fell in love with Mana! Fast Slow Food the first time I met her. Even if this petite eatery was airlifted out of Hong Kong and then plopped down in the epicenter of healthy eats — that would be Berkeley, CA, USA — I’d still love it just as much. That’s a strong declaration, no? That being said, Mana! is definitely one-of-a-kind here in Hong Kong. Sure, there’s more than a few restaurants pumping out healthy vegetarian fare these days, but I can’t think of anyone else who’s this committed to the entire package, the healthy lifestyle. This includes conscious consumption, environmental responsibility, an eco-friendly interior design, and free filtered water for all(not relying on bottled water = so much less waste). Everything Mana! does is deliberate and their actions show they truly care about providing you with clean fuel, and they’re doing their part to making our world a little better. I’ve tried so many items on their menu, but my favorite has to be the DIY wrap featuring my selections of Halloumi cheese, falafel, tahini, garlicnaise, and hot sauce. Give it a try! I sometimes get the mezze platter which includes a nice portion of mixed greens, hummus, baba ghanoush, and flat bread seasoned with za’atar. And their veggie burger is also noteworthy though it’s definitely messy. You can also fuel up on made-to-order fruit and veggie juices and I’ve been known to take a tub of hummus home for later consumption. Their hummus is by far the best I’ve found in all of Hong Kong! Don’t be shy about ordering the large; you’ll eat every last bit. Oh, and they offer delivery via and FoodPanda. Mana! has become so popular that going there can be somewhat stressful — it’s a small space so I avoid visiting at peak times. I imagine they’ll outgrow their current space someday, but in the meantime I hope they continue to expand their footprint with their specialty outposts. Love to love you, Mana!

Mana is healthy/healthier food that actually tastes good. Even if you’re not a vegetarian, vegan, or even health conscious at all, you’ll still enjoy the flats(chef designed or make your own), mixed salads, veggie burger, fries, shakes and juices etc. There’s usually a line out the door during lunch Monday through Friday(recommend going around 11.30 or after 2 to avoid it), but it moves… I imagine there has to be a better layout for the space as well to better accommodate the line and people trying to retrieve their orders. I usually go for the small salad box into which they pack a surprising amount of food or a full flat. However, the veggie burger and fries combo(serves with a side of greens) is a pretty darn good. Instead of a mashed up veggie patty, this is layers of actual, recognizable vegetables slices and halloumi cheese. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not going to satisfy a craving for a real(aka beef) burger, but it’s a hearty sandwich. The fries, however, are a different story. They are awesome! Quite possibly my favorite in HK. Thick cut and golden brown, skin on, some pieces a little more crispy than others, filled with warm soft potato. That description isn’t doing them justice, so just go try them yourself!

I got the vegetarian burger combo– salad, fries and a garlic dipping sauce. $ 100HKD for quality food in a great atmosphere– I sat in the back garden patio area and listened to the gypsy kings sing hotel California from the big lebowski soundtrack and felt right at home. Lots of things I’d like to try here– the smoothies look amazing

Was here last evening. It’s more of a takeaway place than a diner — but we managed to get a seat so that was cool. Food was decent, and probably one of the best natural vegetarian options in Hong Kong.

One of my favorite healthy places in Hong Kong. I love this spot! Highly recommend the wraps, and the kombucha. Salad boxes are also great. I usually go for chickpeas, kale and some baba ganoush on top. The coffee is not their specialty.

There are not many healthy places in Hong Kong. Mana sells jummy RAW Food in Imbis Style for a reasonable price. Variety is a little low and the atmosphere to sit down is also not so super nice. But for take away its great option. They also have a membership card where you get 5% discount on each purchase!

Mana makes healthy vegetarian food tasty! I’ve had their salads, veggie burger and the wraps, everything here is delicious. There portions are good, and they allow you to customize your food. The food is fresh and filling, I just can’t get enough of it.

This place is pure bliss and I’ll come a lot even if the prices come too close to the prices in my chosen home Oslo. Being a fortunate vegetarian I live only 5 min. away and can come by on my way home. The burgers, fries, soups, truffles, cakes, pies, freshly squeezed juices and signature flats are to die for. Really found myself in a yogi´s food heaven. Shakes, teas, salads, other drinks and veggie tofu(vushi) has yet to be tasted. Oh joy! The interior is comfy and stylish in a cool and laid back way. Came in tired from a long day at school and after, eating, drinking and chilling here, I feel refreshed, healthy and ready to for a spinning class at Pure. Oh, the guests and staff are sweet and chilled, it’s much cooler at the front than up in the back and you can pay with your octopus card.

My first review for Mana! and I am sure there will be more updates soon because I keep coming back to this place! This place is brilliant. Ingredients are fresh and the portions are good with a relatively fair price. But the most important thing is it-taste-oh-so-good! My current favourite is the Prana flat(Portobello mushrooms, cucumber, slow dried tomatoes, sprouts and mint). Sometimes I will share a big salad with my friend or a burger with fries if i am feeling a bit more indulgent. I am not a vegetarian but I would happily choose this place for a meal over places that I do love but serve meat.

In a word — Healthy food with an agenda for a fair price. And it’s also tasty! Big up! Longer version(for the brave) — just as I was about to give up on eating in HK my friend from home told me I should try this place, so I went there as my hunger levels went crazy over the top. This was a brilliant idea, as it restored my faith in the food scene of Hong Kong. From this moment on I have realized there are alternatives for people like me who can’t handle street food and shady looking restaurants, even when it’s packed by locals(former trip traumas). Just as I entered I felt a warm breeze of happiness in my body, this place has some positive energies going on. Even though it seems like they are a bit too environmental conscious(with motivational environmental quotes on the wall, which by the way — read them all) — kinda freaks you out at some point, but it’s nice that they care, we all should :) I ordered a wrap and had 4 extras inside, there were a lot of goodies to choose from and I was having a real hard time to decide what to pick — I was kinda dizzy already from not eating for so long so sorry in advance, but I only remember I had spicy pickled peppers, falafel and mushrooms inside, can’t remember the fourth pick. Took it in a meal with fries and garlicnaise, so yummy! It seemed a bit small at the beginning but was quite hard to finish the whole thing. It takes a few moments until your order is ready, so they give you a buzzer that goes off when it’s ready, so you don’t have to wait in agonizing pain until it’s ready. This meal stuffed me up real good, and gave me a push to keep exploring what else HK has to offer :)

I love meat. Whatever the type, I love it. Vegetarian? Eh… But wow. This place is incredible. The ingredients are super-fresh and high-quality. Whether its sun-dried tomatoes, haloumi cheese, or falafel. Everything is picked and prepared with care. The result is wraps that are out-of-this-world good. And the Zaatar. They describe it as a «mixture of thyme, sumac, sesame seeds and sea salt». But the resulting flavour is far more than the sum of its part — exponentially more. I only wish the prices were a bit more reasonable, but I guess getting this quality of ingredients isn’t cheap, especially in HK. I don’t get to eat here as frequently as I’d like but when I do, I’m always blown away by how good it is.

Visit during lunch time and the lines at Mana! are out the door. Timed carefully you can enjoy a serene experience, ordering and eating in the simple backyard space without a massive audience. Salads, bread, dips, felafel, pickles and olives can be mixed and matched for a wrap or salad combo. It’s fresh, tasty and simple and is even better washed down with one of the many healthful smoothies or kombucha brewed especially for Mana! Don’t forget to recycle all your bits at the end, for a truly virtuous experience from beginning to end.

It’s a great thing to have such a delicious and healthy vegetarian and vegan option in Central. The place is a little hippie alcove on the south side of Wellington Street, just east of the escalator. There is a permanent aroma of nag champa in the air, even in the outdoor courtyard area, but the place exudes more of a hippie hipster vibe than dirty granola hippie, if that makes sense. There was some nice chill reggae playing in the background. Seating is short-handed and all communal. At full capacity, the place probably seats 20 people comfortably — across 3 communal dining areas(1 inside and 2 outside). I can see this place getting obnoxiously crowded during the lunch and dinner rush, which is the only reason why this review is 4 stars instead of 5. Thankfully, I was there smack dab in between any lunch or dinner rush — around 3:30 p.m. I felt very comfortable enjoying my meal here, despite having to share dining space with strangers, and I enjoyed the intimate, homey, and laid-back atmosphere very much. I had the veggie burger combo — which wasn’t really a burger patty but more just chopped up vegetables with really tasty halloumi cheese. The combo comes with a mixed green salad — some kind of baby greens and frisée mix lightly tossed in a sesame(I think?) vinaigrette — and some delicious homemade hand-cut fries with«garlicnaise»(although you can choose from a variety of other sauces, including your regular old pedestrian ketchup). Also got a bottle of tasty lemongrass-flavored kombucha, which is made in HK specially for Mana! The meal was real food, comfort food — but not the kind that makes you regret what you’ve just eaten after you’re finished with your meal. Essentially, you can basically order anything from this place and know that what you’re putting into your body is good for you — even the beer. Thumbs up, for sure. Looking forward to eating here often.

After a sweaty spin class at nearby Torq Cycle, I was in search of a healthy lunch. Mana! hit the spot. This tiny raw fast food spot feels like a place you might find in Ubud on Bali. If you’re vegan, vegetarian, or just in need of some vegetable goodness, Mana! will feel like a godsend with its substantial salads, fresh juice and gluten-free flatbreads. Whilst not cheap — $ 16 for a flat and small salad — the portions are plentiful and the food, particularly the produce, is high quality. I’d definitely come back to Mana! for a vegetable fix.

Safe meal! Coming back to Kong and vegan food hunting is just sad. Always when some restaurant ask you for extra charge for all beef and other red meat. Yes, everything is imported here, why not more meat since you are paying the same? Guess that is the mentality. For soul food, you have to maintain the quality with high cost. The freshness, I am talking about here. And the seasoning for a tasty salad. NYC surprised me when all the grocery store do the chopped salad fine with sesame vinegar dressing. And DIY make you can stay with them longer, or more frequent. I heart the place its deco itself. Maybe one day, i wanna have my own creation like this.
