Egg waffles!
What is an egg waffle you say? Why, it’s a waffle that looks like an egg carton. At least, that’s what I think it is. That’s what it looks like. And it was as delicious as you think.
You get it in handheld format and you eat it as you walk. And it is delicious. They have all kinds of flavour, and I did one with chocolate in the middle. And oh my god, amazing.
They apparently do other flavours too. If you are in the area, do not miss it.

Definitely one of my to-​go places for egglettes in Hong Kong. Although it is rather in the middle of nowhere and relatively inconvenient to get to by public transportation, it’s worth my detour every time I come here.
Recently they’ve created a new flavour — sweet potato egglettes! And it’s absolutely amazing! They blend the flavours of their egglettes very well, my favourite would be their chocolate egglettes although they have other flavours like sesame and pork floss, and of course the very original ones. Aside from that I’ve never tried their Hong Kong style waffles, but I highly doubt they would make that badly considering the quality of their other food.
They make the food right away so try to come here during less peak times, because it does take a while for them to make it, and usually there’s a line for it since they make it fresh for you. Definitely give their different flavours a try.
The sales/​cashier people there are very friendly and like to chat, which is definitely a nice bonus, especially in HK where most people simply like to hurry their way, they try to strike up conversation while you wait for your food — one of my favourite things about it!

Everyone knows of the popular egg waffle locations on the island, but nobody ever seems to mention this place. This is a great place to get them in Kowloon.
The most popular item here is the chocolate chip egg waffles. Part of the chocolate mixes in with the shell, and part of it mixes with the interior fluffy part. Yes, it’s as amazing as it sounds. Regular egg waffles are available too, as well as a sesame flavor one. Chocolate is by far the favorite though, and for good reason.
Hung Hom isn’t really a tourist draw but if you’re in or around TST and are craving egg waffles, this place is absolutely worth the short detour.
