The food is ok. Nothing to rave about. Not really worth the 1 hr queue. Ordered the Peking duck, fried spring onion pancake, Xiao long bao and the sweet red bean pancake. Peking duck is delicious but it’s a little too oily in my opinion and the skin not crispy enough. The meat that came with the skin tasted a little too gamey and dry. The Xiao long bao is ok. Skin is thin and the juice not too oily. Nothing to wow about. Red bean pancake also does not impress me. I had better. The red bean paste taste very commercial and the pancake hard and not flavorful nor fragrance. The best dish is actually the fried spring onion pancake. The spring onion inside was full of flavor and fragrance!!! The negative is the service. My dessert sweet red bean pancake came out first! And it’s almost impossible to get the attention of the wait staffs!!! Price wise, it’s actually not too expensive. However the service puts me off and I don’t think I’ll be patronizing any time soon.

Very expensive place, but very good quality food. We ordered several dishes. Main dish was Peking Duck, which was delicious. I had only better Pecking duck in Taipei, Taiwan.

Quite easily my best meal in Hong Kong. M&C Duck is located in the Harbour City shopping mall and the venue is very trendy and modern. The place settings are really cool with little silver holders shaped like ducks for your chopsticks and ducks printed on the china. The food served at is a modern twist on traditional Peking and Shanghainese cuisine and their signature dish is Peking Duck. It was so delicious– crispy on the outside, succulent and tender on the inside. I still will never forget the walnut fried rice for as long as I live– really need the recipe! Another highlight was the Sliced Duck with Osmanthus Pudding, which consisted of a slice of cucumber sandwiched between jelly, crispy duck skin and a pringle chip!

So this location is in the mall. A very nice mall. You can see the duck being sliced and being prepared in the window! Upon going in the place is modern and spotless. The dishes are cute with ducks on them. The service was subpar. I didn’t go at rush hour. They didn’t look that busy. Had to ask for everything. Plates. Utensils. Menus… and most were not friendly. Be prepared to continuously ask for what you need. However, the waiter was helpful, but I can’t say good things about everyone else. The food on the other hand was great! Sliced duck was delicious. Very well cut and moist! The wrap was was good and had sesame seed sprinkled in for an additional nutty flavor. The duck meal can with duck bone soup. The flavor of the soup was very rich. It must have been boiling for a while, the flavor stays with you… mmmmmm… Americans– think turkey soup after Thanksgiving… The noodles are good and handmade. I enjoyed them. The sauce was very good and if other food wasn’t coming… yum! So five stars for the food. 1 star for the service. So and average of 3 stars…
