I’m in Hong Kong for only 3 days. So far all my meals for two has been under $ 25 dollars. Last night in Hong Kong I wanted to spurge a bit so decided to try wagyu beef for the first time. Upon coming I was thinking maybe spending about $ 150US dollars. We walked out spending about $ 270US dollars dinner for two. Was it worth it? Maybe not. We ended up getting the special. Which included soup, salad, small tasting appetizers, many different types of cut of wagyu beef, and a very unsatisfying desert which was two small pieces of pound cake. But hey i didn’t come for the dessert. First bite of wagyu beef was heaven. Literally melts in your mouth. You cook your own beef on the grill which I really enjoyed. Only a few seconds on each side and bam your meat is ready to be eaten. The grills are pretty nice. I wish they had these grills at my local AYCE korean BBQ. What I didn’t enjoy was the restrooms. They use sharing restrooms which means no toilet paper is available and dirty toilets. Spending almost $ 300US dollars I expected maybe they would have there own restrooms. Anyway just ask them and they will give you tissue packets. Service was ok. A lot of miscommunication since no one spoke any English.
