We were so excited to try this place on our most recent trip to Hong Kong but it did not meet our expectations. Dim sum was alright but not exceptional. The chicken stir fry dishes were served with skin on. That was a disappointment. Good part, halal but I wouldn’t be going there again.

Hidden on the 5th floor of this masjid and madrasa is the Islamic Centre Canteen. While they service the mosque and school, you can just go eat here. It’s dirt cheap and it’s dim sum and it’s dirt cheap. The food is good, about as good as a good (but not great) dim sum place in SF… but If you’re into dim sum and don’t dig the swine magically appearing in the dish, this is the place yo.
