Imma giving it 5 stars (it’s 4.5 stars but I’ll be nice during Christmas) because…
1) desserts — thus far, I’ve been to this CWB branch twice. And I must say their parfaits are yummy. Their matcha waffles could be doughier — theirs are crunchy which I don’t fancy too much but I understand some will. By and large, their desserts are consistently yummy. That’s because the food is actually shipped in from Kyoto if I recall the city correctly. So it’s made by Japanese dessert masters.
2) staff — friendly, polite, pleasant.
3) pets — they allowed my friend to bring in his 3 dogs. Yep. THREE. So, animal-​friendly they are. That’s not to say you can throw a party for your furry friends lah.
4) space — it’s always rather empty which I LOVE. Not as famous as Via Tokyo and I don’t know why. In any case, it doesn’t have the madness and crowds that CWB restos have. And I love it. I enjoy the quiet away from the maddening crowd, and how peaceful it is.
