I went there for lunch today. There was still a queue at 1pm, but the wait was not too long. This place seems to be quite popular with the office lunch crowd — reason why I wanted to try it.
The lunch set menu wasn’t very extensive, but varied enough to give a taste for anyone there during lunch, both rice and noodle options (soup or stir fried).
I ordered the beef cutlet & egg rice, and my friend ordered the spare ribs ramen udon. My beef and egg was very saucy (in a good way) and was covered in eggs, mixed with onions and sauce! There were only two pieces of beef chops though.
My friends udon soup had veggies, tofu, and super duper tender spare ribs. Very yummy indeed. It was in an opaque beige-​color broth, which was relatively light.
I have to say, the set lunch for $ 85 (+10%) with drink and dessert included was quite a bargain for «Japanese» places. No wondering it’s popular with the lunch crowd.
Will definitely recommend!
