CHI Residences 138

I have stayed at Chi 138 a number of times and it is the place that I look for first when planning a trip to Hong Kong. Located in the Sai Ying Pun area, it is a short train ride away from the downtown area which I like, has wonderful views if you get a higher floor and the hotel personnel at the concierge station are really nice and helpful.
The housekeeping service is average but you get quality towels, toiletries and water daily. The rooms are flat out large and separated into a living are, sleeping area and bathroom area. There is plenty of closet space, a large work desk, a nice refrigerator, a microwave, a toaster, a two burner stove, pots, pans, dishes, hot water dispenser, knives and forks, a coffee maker a desk, flat screen, iron and ironing board and basically all the things you would want at home.
The new MTR (subway) station is just around the corner. Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park is across the street for exercising or swimming, Hong Kong University is a twenty minute walk away up hill. Trams to Kennedy Town are a block away and there are two supermarkets within four blocks. The view of the harbor is spectacular if you get a higher floor but the windows could use more regular cleanings. The hotel is easily reachable by the A-​10 bus from the airport. The arrival stop is about two blocks away and the departure stop about five blocks away and the busses have plenty of room for luggage.
