A well known brand of food stuff from Taiwan landed in Hong Kong last year so I decided to check it out. The store carries its own brand from dried pork jerky to frozen sausages to cooked meat vacuum packed. All are ordinary food stuff with price tags 30% higher than their homeland, understandable given than plane tickets are expensive these days. But for the Taiwanese sausage lovers, 30% is nothing if you gonna have that grilled sausage.
At first I walked into with no intention of buying anything, but the two sales ladies in the store are just so friendly that I felt guilty of walking out the store empty handed. So I decided to try their grilled pork sausage for HK$ 12, even though it wasn’t freshly grill and tasted so ordinary, but for the smile on the saleslady’s face it was worth the $.
