Having not been accustomed to the grossly exhausting humidity of that HK air for a while, I settled to stay inside the air-conditioned confines of Harbour City for dinner. Got here around 19:00, when only a few tables were occupied, but they soon filled up fast. Service was great, and I was pleasantly surprised by my entrée. I ordered the lamb, which turned out very nicely and I enjoyed how well the flavors came together(listed as «Agnello»); would probably recommend it to anyone who gives this place a chance should they be in the area.

On the weekends, they have a salad brunch or full brunch(with a choice of main dish, tea or coffee). I had the salad brunch. The buffet room has a variety of prepared salads(beets, fennel, kale, pasta, tomato), make your own salad(balsamic vinegar, caesar dressing, lemon dressing), cured meats, breads(baguette, foccaccia), cheeses section(apricots, brie, feta, gorgonzola, grapes, parmigiano-reggiano), soup with a variety of toppings(chili flakes, chives, herb oil, parsley, olive powder), polpette, tortilla espanola, omelette, lasagna, desserts(bomboloni, brownies, cream puffs, crème brûlée, tiramisu, cantaloup, honeydew melon, pineapple, watermelon).

Noisy a bit however; Pasta is fine, limited sellection of it tho. Stella draft is not bad.

Food was as expected. Pizza was very nice– thin crust, cooked in traditional pizza oven. Staff was not very knowledgeable at the bar counter… don’t expect much in terms of help with food suggestions. Most staff worked as ‘robots’ not much personality. Did not see them smile in the 2 times I ate there. Wine list is decent. Very nice location, you can seat outside as well. Worth a try!

It’s a good place for dates, business meals, or family gatherings. The food is consistent but nothing too exciting. Make a reservation to be safe. Portion is good for 2 to 3 people, may be too small if you have a larger party.

Had dinner here just a few hours ago. The food was ok but the service was great. I thought the food was overpriced for what you get. Probably won’t be back but the view is nice as the restaurant sits on the harbor and gives you a nice view of HK especially night.

Had a nice lunch here. They’ve a special lunch menu which gives you less options to choose from but a better value deal. The salad bar that comes with the menu was excellent allot of food to choose from and the quality was good. My friend had a nice pizza that was very tasty. I had a steak which was very well naked and the massed potatoes was very nice.

Really nice seating. You can overlook the pier from the venue when you are sitting al fresco. The décor is pretty nice too. However the lighting is pretty dark. The candles will make up for it though. It’s a place with good atmosphere. Casual wear is ideal. You don’t need to dress up to go to this spot. Beware of mainlands though.

Al Molo is an Italian restaurant in TST right by the star ferry. It’s got a great set up with a fancy interior and a small patio area as well, for those that like to eat/drink al fresco, giving it a more european feeling. I’ve been to Al Molo twice now, once for a new years eve party and another time for lunch, both times I left with happy feelings! The NYE party was a complete bit of luck. I had no plans but a friend of mine was working as a dancer here and invited me in, free of charge, to enjoy the open bar and fireworks from the patio overlooking Victoria Harbour to Central. It’s not often, in fact it has never happened, where I’ve entered an open bar party for free, which just might have made the experience that much better. From what I remember it was absolutely crowded, everyone was trying to fit onto the patio to the point when I thought some one might get pushed into the water. Sadly, though, no one did. Having lunch here a couple months later was also a delight. I just missed the lunch buffet that ends at around 3 or 3:30 so I ordered a la carte. The roasted leg of lamb sent my taste buds into dizzying heights of joy, and thus me as well. It was a tad bit pricey but well worth it. I sat inside this time, next to the pizza oven so I was able to see the roaring flames and the pizzas coming out. I was full as an egg but that didn’t stop me from watching. During my time at Al Molo I also witnessed the creation of their home made pasta. They have a small display with a window looking into the mall so everyone can hover around and awe and ahh at the pasta chef. It’s actually pretty cool. Because of such I inquired about their ingredients. All of their cheese, olive oils, and even their tomatoes are brought in from Italy. I’ll certainly be back again but this time I’ll be sure to make it for the lunch buffet!

I’m just back from dinner at this place and I loved it. I hadn’t even heard about it before and it’s been a pleasure to meet it! My friend the Maven had been there before and he wanted to eat at their terrace tonight. We hadn’t made any reservation and by the time we arrived, around 7.30pm it was pretty packed, so it looked as if we were going to wait for a little while. However, we were quickly led to a small table inside. Instead we asked if it was possible to sit outside and they said it was, but they thought it may rain so it was at our risk… that we took! Although the restaurant ambience and deco is great, sitting outside is another story. The views to Hong Kong Island are amazing and it’s quiet enough to enjoy a good conversation. So, what we ordered: I went for the chicken with cabbage and mushrooms and my friend got the pepperoni pizza. Both, just excellent. — I initially wanted to have their cod but wanted to change the potatoes for another veggie. The waiter said we could ask in the kitchen but that it was going to change the whole taste of the dish and it may not be worth it. Oh well, chicken it was. The dish was really tasty, huge portion, and with a yummy sauce(I would have enjoyed a bit more of the mushroom because I barely saw a few…). The service was also really good, from the staff at the entrance to the waiter who served our table. So, I’m definitely recommending this place: good food, better views, quick and efficient service… the only let down might be the price. Once you look away from pizzas and pastas it gets a little pricey.
