We found this great place for dinner whilst in Rotterdam. It is an Italian casual dining restaurant. You get given a(RFID) radio frequency ID card, which is like a credit card and there are several counters to get food from pizza, pasta, antipasti, salad and of course the bar. When you order it you swipe the card and at the end of your meal you take the card to the till to pay. I had a vegetarian calzone which was delicious and I topped it with fresh Basel, balsamic vinegar and olive oil. I liked the laid back feel of the place. A selection of high tables with bar stools and low coffee tables. Plenty of space to move around. We were also given a pager when we ordered our food so we knew when it was ready to collect. Very handy. I would love to see a Vapiano opening up in Edinburgh, I think it would work well. It was easy to find something nice to eat. Great selection and helpful staff.
