Attention lovers of everything retro! In Tony’s garage there is more than enough to feel, buy and see. It’s like stepping into a time machine. The first thing I saw was this old skool typing machine. It actually worked! Tony’s Garage Sale has a little bit of everything: clothes, furniture, jewelry, records, books, toys, etc. The coolest thing was this sixties t.v. In the shape of a helmet. You all know the kind I mean. And on it you could play the quintessential eighties game Super Mario Bros. Nice! With the original eighties Nintendo control pads. Furthermore they have stuff made by local artist by hand. Everything in the shop is retro or re-​used, even the new stuff. soemone made candle holders out of wood stumps. There is this artist from Rotterdam who buys old lamps from shops, bars and places that went bankrupt. He repairs them en dies and fashions them to his own taste. The paint and colors that he uses are hard to come by, because he makes them himself. These lamps and the accompanied paint you can’t buy in just any old store. Even if you don’t want to buy anything, this shop is an amazing place to browse and snoop. Within Rotterdam they deliver too. The cost for delivery aren’t so high. As for the goods in the store, every kind of wallet can buy something here. There is stuff from under 20 euro, even under 10 euro up to what ever you want. So pay a visit to Tony’s and find out what treasure fancies your mood.
