Rotown

Rotown can be many different things: a bar, a restaurant, a café, a music venue. To me, the Monday night performances are where it’s at. The venue itself is not too big but, in this case it adds to the atmosphere.
The staff is very friendly behind the bar as well as at the door. The prices are okay, standard for most bars in town. The crowd is a good mix of young and old, but it depends on the night as well as the particular performance.
The sound system in this venue is okay, but loud performances are just a little bit too big for venues like this. The price of admission to a music performance is cheap (in this case 12 euros) for a music performance, and you often get a warm-​up act to go with it.
All things considered, I’ll be back here whenever they have some other good artists coming up!

Super chill place to hang out, well stocked full bar, good music. Servers are nice and relaxed, and the seating is spacious and comfortable. Outside seating also available!
Great music when they’ve got concerts going on, and everyone is down to have a good time.

Nous n’avons pas testé le côté restaurant du bar car nous y sommes arrivés vers 22h. Nous avons par contre testé la piste de danse pendant quelques heures, pour notre plus grand plaisir. La musique était bien mixée et le bar était rapide pour nous servir. Nous avons donc passé une bonne soirée à Rotown !

Every city has this place where everyone goes and is one of the heartthrobs of the town. Rotown is such a place. There’s always someone you know or you’ll meet someone you haven’t seen in a long while. But you can also meet a lot of new friends. Everyone is laid back and the staff is even more laid back. You can go for a drink or some food, but you can also attend a (pop) quiz or a concert. Local talent, known artists and new talent can have a stage here. Rotown gives new talent lots of space. One of those new talents is Reignwolf. A hot and steamy cool rocker from Canada. He’s a blues rocker that has listened very well to the great Jimmy Hendrix. Reignwolf has the same crazy electric vibe. The whole room was tingling and buzzing. Talking about tingling and heartthrobs, this guy is amazing. He really sang his heart out with this gritty, sexy raspy voice. You could just feel and taste the blues and rock &roll. Long dark hair swaying in sweaty strands and the guitar was getting a good trashing. Jimmy would have been proud! The guitar was screaming, curling, twisting and diving. The strings shot up at the end like Einstein’s hair. The amazing sounds the guitar produced… WAUW! Jordan Cook caressed the guitar sensually a bit ruff and emotionally. Too sexy to describe. Sexy sweaty muscled arms, dripping wet t-​shirt, lots of emotion and a sexy curled lip. People… I thing I’m in love…

Excelente ambientación, programación de conciertos y la hamburguesa… mmmm «la hamburguesa». Situado en el centro y con ganas de volver para probar alguna de las deliciosas tartas que ví al marcharme y que me dejaron con ganas de más!
