Good atmosphere and a fair Guinness. The cheeseburger was ok, nothing to write home about but not bad either. Great location to stop by on your own or with a group.

This is the second Irish pub here in Rotterdam. It’s smaller and less rowdy than Paddy’s. A nice bar if you want to have(deep) conversations and a quiet drink. A football or rugby match you can always watch over here. The six nations are a big thing. Like big brother Paddy’s they have live music. But the set up is more intimate and personal. It’s mostly a singer –songwriter and his guitar. This pub is more a relax, come sit down and have a chat with me bar. They do have party music in the weekends, but it’s not the same as at Paddy’s.Things are more slow and quiet here. Personnel is very friendly here and pays good attention to you. It’s a very international crew too. I have the feeling that the crowd here is more international too, but maybe because it’s quieter here so you can pay more attention. To me it also seems the crowd here is a bit older and a bit more mature. But that’s just my perception. From the outside O’Shea’s may look very quiet and empty but when you pass the saloon doors you’ll find a fun and cosy bar where you can actually have a nice conversation with your friends or new people. The crowd that comes here is spontaneous and happy to have a chat with you.

I like this bar! Very close to what you get back home — a genuine Irish bar! Good beers and a good atmosphere. Dark and cosy inside — so very easy to get caught up and spend the whole evening inside their. Lovely staff and friendly owner! Quiz Nights on Tuesdays(some Thursdays) is great fun! Terrace is nice, well located on the lijnbaan and good for an after work drink with friends!
