My boyfriend said he felt like eating tapas — we went out and found La Cubanita. The place was crowded on a Thursday night, but no surprise if there’s an all you can eat offer Sunday through Thursday for 17,50. We sat at the bar since all of the tables were occupied, but had a nice view all over the restaurant. Cold beer(2,25 /0,25 l) and tapas were served promptly. Just the way it’s supposed to be. Everything was just fine, very friendly staff, I only have a few remarks regarding the food. Mostly, there were fried or deep-fried things on the menu und not really anything fresh. And the menu was not too Spanish and — to my understanding — not Cuban at all. Vitello Tonnato and raw Carpaccio are clearly Italian. Nevertheless we had a good time for a very decent price. Make sure you try the tenderloin in Sherry sauce — my favorite.
