Rotterdam has many special, weird and wonderful shops. Fabricati is one of them. Great fun if you’re looking for a special or wacky gift. Wacky is the first word that comes to mind when stepping into this shop. Wild and vibrant colours leap onto you whilst you walk in. Big, colorful Mexican Carpets, colorful and whimsical metal toys, Jesus and Mary candles and metal containers with texts like ‘this is where I stash my weed’. There’ is so much to see and buy, you wouldn’t know where to start. You can find almost everything you’re looking for and the ones you didn’t know about. I once found an ashtray in the shape of a matrouchka. Is this what Alice saw when she fell into the rabbit hole?
