The atmosphere at LaBru is very welcoming and quite international. Although the prices can be a little higher than a normal bar, the quality of the drinks compensates for it.
I’ve visited the bar twice on a busy Friday night but both times I was able to find a place to sit and the waiters took care of my order fast.
If you’re visiting Rotterdam and you’re looking for a bar where you can get buzzed but still have a nice conversation, you should definitely visit LeBru.

Great bar: the bartenders are cool — when my drink was delayed — they gave me a beer for the wait. This isn’t amateur hour. The cocktails are tasty and they have a comprehensive selection of liquor and drinks to choose from. Apparently they have 5 types of tonic.
Great crowd: 20−30s hipsters of rotterdam
Great décor: not any good pics, but it’s really nice and modern inside.
It’s my go-​to bar in r’dam.
