Baker & Moore

My twin boys and I stopped in here while in Rotterdam at the advice of our hotel concierge. The place is spacious and airy as well as new and clean. Of course, the staff spoke perfect English, so no language problem at all. It hit all the required marks. I had a «Grilled Baker» one of their signature sandwiches that won an award as one of the top 5 best sandwiches in the Netherlands. Unfortunately, the first time I ordered it, one of the ingredients (the rucola (arugula) was not available and the avocado was «not ripe» so they didn’t want to use it) Nevertheless, the sandwich, even with the two missing ingredients was amazing. In fact, it was so good, that I went back the next day and had the same thing, but this time with the rucola and avocado. Again. .. Amazing! My boys selected the items that they wanted on their own sandwiches, since their motto is «create it yourself» («Create it yourself dat is ons motto!»). I won’t get into details, but they loved their sandwiches too. I highly recommend this place when you are in Rotterdam, and I suggest you try the «Grilled Baker»!

so much to choose such a short time for lunch… mmmm…well the sandwiches were great, fresh ingredients, bit much bread compared to the filling but still great. although it was served a bit late .30 minutes for 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks really is far too long, so for now 3 stars but with potential for 4 without a doubt… next time

This is the best sandwich restaurant in Rotterdam, in my opinion. I had the chicken salad, with cornish hen and pine nuts… one word is… superb!
The service is also very prompt and friendly in a spacious, woody interior with ample seating on 2 floors.
The price was also very reasonable.
