The best pizza in town. Angelo Betti is a small restaurant, not possible to book a table, however, always busy. Thd atmosphere is great, being greeted in Italian by the lovely staff. The decoration is wonderful and gives you a glimpse of the long history of this family business. Upstairs is great, sitting on a upper floor that covers half the restaurant. Down stairs however, you can see the kitchen and look at the way they prepare and enjoy making the dishes. Make sure you leave room for desert, the ice cream is amazing and home made. My favourite pizzaria in Rotterdam and i will be coming back soon!

What can one say… this place is the charm of Italy in Rotterdam. Order the pizza rucola for a treat or just anything you fancy… its delish. A special recommendation goes to their star strawberry ice cream… only there for as long as strawberries taste well enough… but my oh my… heaven. the other gelato is great too… well worth the wait… which is part of the experience but just chill with some wine or sit outside .they’ll come and fetch you when the time is there :)

Uau! I had just came back from rome and was missing that real italian taste and a friend recommended me Angelo Betti, as «the best Italian pizza in Roterdam» well i haven’t eaten in every pizza place in the city but I can tell you, this is the Best Italian Pizza I’ve eaten in Rotterdam! Their spicy salami pizza tastes as in the 30 min I waited for the pizza the chef took a flight to Italy, hand picked the salami from a farm market stand, made the mozzarella himself with milk just extracted from the cow and baked this amazing delicious pizza in his grandmother wooden oven!!! I’ve went back so many times and i’m never disappointed! Their wine cart is a bit poor for my taste(but too be fare i’m quite picky with wine) P. S. Doesn’t matter how full you are after your pizza, take an authentic italian cappuccino and top your meal with an incredible pistachio Gelato!

We tried this place out based on the Unilocal recommendations. I agree with the high rating and the pizza was very delicious. The crusts are very thin and crispy — something that we are not accustomed to in the states. The sauce is not too sweet and the perfect amount of cheese to accompany the other toppings. The result is combined textures of crispy, chewy, melty, tangy goodness. I recommend this restaurant if you are in the neighborhood. Try the pizza’s topped with smoked ham(rauwe ham) and arugula with marscapone. YUM and double YUM! Note that they do not accept credit card so bring cash.

Pizzas at Angelo Betti are the best in Rotterdam and don’t forget to order the icecream which also very good, lasagne and the salads are mwoah. They take no reservations and be prerared to wait at the bar for about 20 minutes. You can also take-out a pizza and eat it at home or in the park.

The best Pizza in Rotterdam… PERIOD! :) Small. but very very good. No need to add anything else. the best! They are Italians moved to Holland years and years ago. but still speak Italian and have a great attitude and great service. I take a trip from Amsterdam to Rotterdam to get this Pizza now and then… totally worth it!
