Scheeps is a place which may come across as expensive, but it’s far from. Both décor and service are great and of course most important, so is the food. Located just outside the«Markt» on the banks of a canal, Scheeps is a bit more quiet, less touristy. The amuse bouche was a nice spoonful of smoked fish. My starter were oysters, gratinated, the mrs. enjoyed a beautifull dish of coquilles and beet root. Our mains were a tournedos and for me slow cooked beef, laced with duck liver. For desert, we shared a cheese board with a lovely glass of PX sherry. All in all, a perfect night meal and experience.
