Don’t have plans for the weekend, then I would suggest heading east of the Netherlands to Deventer. I love this little village, talk about a little gem. It’s so worth the visit. I completely adore this little town. They have a wonderful historical vibe to it. Hotel Huis Vermeer is a fabulous hotel for a nice little get away. Hotel Vermeer has only 11 rooms in their special hotel, but I am sure every room is extremely exceptional. We had the pleasure of staying in the Grande Deluxe, which was originally the banker’s library from the 1800. The room and bathroom was extremely spacious and exceptional. In addition, I adored the corner view of the church from the hotel.
