It feels like you stepped into someone’s dining-​room/​kitchen, be that someone with a flair for colour. The walls are a striking shade of bright emerald and the chairs are brightly painted mismatched bric-​à-​brac finds. The whole place feels cosy without any clutter. In a word it has atmosphere. The service is friendly and correct.
The menu is fully vegetarian and everything is prepared in house. From a small kitchen nice, simple, tasty dishes are served. We both had the vegan options: the exotic rice dish (wholegrain rice with lentil-​curry sauce, fried tempeh, bean sprouts, onion, peanut sauce and baked banana) and the mexican bean dish (spicy, beans, tomatoes, peppers and other mixed vegetables with wholegrain rice, comes with small salad). Both were very nice. On the whole it is very affordable, only downside is they don’t take cards (also no pin). It is a small place, so booking in advance is recommended.
