I absolutely love this place. Their burgers are amazing. The meat is grass fed and smoked — delicious. The Bulgarian oven dish with salmon is really good, too. It seems people haven’t discovered this place yet so go before it gets overrun.

My friend had heard about this place from a friend so we decided to give it a try tonight for dinner. When we walked in we were the only customers, but by the time we left the entire bar was filled with what seemed be regulars. Needless to say (although maybe not considering this is the Netherlands!), the service was very attentive. They have a small menu with a few Bulgarian dishes, bar snacks (some with a Bulgarian touch, like french fries with feta cheese) and burgers. The burgers looked really good but we went with the Bulgarian food this time — sausages, a vegetarian hot pot and the fries with feta of course. And hummus to start. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The décor is nice — they have a beautiful old black ceiling and a ginormous chandelier. The only potential drawback was it got a bit noisy when it started to fill up — not great for deep conversation but good for atmosphere. Highly, highly recommended! At 44 euros for food and four beers, it’s also a great value.
