A good find. Went there two nights. First night was best. Food was good and waitress was very helpful.
The second night the food was not quite as good and the service was a little slow.
Nevertheless I rate the restaurant 4 stars.

Food was great, service was terrible, even for a typical slow European dining experience. There were only two people working in the kitchen and one server (a second one eventually came out to help; I think he might have been the owner).
This restaurant seems to be a popular neighborhood restaurant. We came on a Friday night and the small restaurant was entirely full by 8:00 pm.
The menu features comfort food; there are only 5 or so entrees to choose from but there is something for everyone. Every dish we ordered did not disappoint. We sampled the beef and mashed potatoes, ravioli, cod with bok choy, and green beans as the side dish. Save room for dessert and get the chocolate cake.

Situé dans le quartier des musées, pas loin du parc Vondel, vous trouverez Willems. Petit resto, jolie terrasse (sur le trottoir), service impec, cuisine moderne et créative. What else?

Nice little place, I had the half lobster and the chocolate mousse. Both were very nice, simple but the chef has a good eye for detail. Price is ok but not the cheapest for the quality you can get in Amsterdam. Willams is a well presented place with a modern and nice graphic identity, I will return and I’d recommend but there are better places in the city for less.

This is a new restaurant with a great chef. I loved the cute view of the street as we sat and ate our dinner. I had a risotto that was very flavorful and looked great. Walking down this neighborhood you see a lot of old Amsterdam homes that are each very unique. Surrounded by beautiful architecture and tree lined streets this restaurant seems at home and is quite pleasant to sit in and have a great meal. Definitely worth the stroll if you are staying in the Museum quarter.
