This place is A-​ok.
It is a nice location in Wester Park. They have bean bags outside on sunny days.
We stopped in just for a bite to eat and a quick drink. Quick was not quite how it panned out but that’s okay.
The crab salad was so tasty but a tiny serve for 7.5euro. It also only came with a small crisp bread so not really ‘finger’ food. We used some of the corn chips from the nachos we ordered to nibble.
The nachos were a larger plate, but lacked on the toppings front. Could have been a bit more cheesy.
Positive they serve Moscow mules though, which come served in a jar.

Fantastic place. Great food. Gorgeous venue. Wonderful atmosphere. I have been here many times now and absolutely love it. Great service and great for any time of day. Very hip and trendy. Only downside is there is no nearby parking so it’s a bit of a walk unless you or on a bike or scooter.

Perfect place for any type of mood you are during your day. I went there late afternoon for some coffe and a nice chat with dear friends. I loved it. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere inside couldn’t get better. Very gezellig!!! We were not going to eat anything, but then we saw a lovely plate with mini potatoes and mini hamburguers being served to another guest, and we couldn’t hep but also order one. Delicious. This is a perfect place for Summer. At Westerpark by the water side. Coming back and bringing more friends :-)

Must have been my cheerful handsome face because I got terrific service! The wait for my lunch was a bit too much but I guess they spent that time preparing a really nice meal for two because the salad immediately followed the soup.
The prices are a bit high, but I think the quality justifies them. The tomato soup was rich and creamy with a delicious fresh flavor. I think they could have made it a tad better by keeping the proportion of tomatoes to condiments high. The veggie salad was quite good.
The best part is the ambience, especially on a sunny day. There were people just lounging around on the fatboys or using one of the picnic tables. The interior is grand and the toilets clean.
Good location. Will come back for some soup.

The summer salsa parties here on Thursdays are some of the most popular salsa events in all of Amsterdam. It draws some of the biggest crowds and it is free (can’t beat that). It also features a free class before the social dancing begins.
However, some things to note:
–beer pours are some of the worst I have ever seen anywhere in the world
–the outdoor dance floor is dangerous; it uneven pavement that is masked with some sort of wallpaper-​ish material (faux wooden dance floor) There are rips in the floor; I would suggest not using anything at all.
–super crowded inside (there are too many onlookers hanging out around the edges (be careful of elbows, spilled drinks and heels when dancing along the edges)

4 stars for atmosphere :) I really like going here to sit on their terrace and have a beer. Unfortunately their coffee gets 0 stars as it’s pretty horrible and I’ve never eaten here so can’t review the food.

Aaah I really wanted to like this place. I liked their large booths outdoors. The servers were friendly. I think it would have been a great place to just sit and hang out with a group of friends over drinks. But hot damn, the food was just no bueno. Every dish in our foursome was a miss. My burger was well — just awful. The burger was half the size of the bun. There was a lemongrass reed in my burger. Odd. And uncomfortable to bite into. And gigantic chunks of onions — like quarters of onions with the roots still on. What!!! My friend ordered what she was told was an open face sandwich — it was not. It was more like a pasta salad with chunks of bread in it. Again, odd.
I did have the fondant with coconut ice cream that was pretty good. Although it was more like a molten lava cake than a fondant so even that was a surprise — but at least a pleasant surprise.
