Angry (hair) Management!
I came across Zonnestudio by chance, as it’s right in my new neighboorhood in the ‘Dirty Zuid.” I went in originally to continue IPL (permanent hair removal) because lets face it, I’ve completely succombed to societal norms for women and now prefer to keep my legs, etc on the smoother side. The thing is, I’m lazy as shit when it comes to shaving and too much of a puss for waxing so IPL was my best solution. In addition to IPL, they offer so many other services, one of which I’ve taken advantage of — EYEBROWS!
I’ve been looking for a ‘threading’ location in Amsterdam for a year and a half. When discussing the IPL, the woman across from me had the most gorgeous eyebrows I had to ask her 1) where she threaded them 2) Where could I go to get brows that awesome. Conveniently, her response was to just point to herself! She doesn’t thread but I am a converted plucker now — she does a brilliant job.
In closing, Zonnestudio is a Gem in Amsterdam’s myriad of beauty options. The staff at Zonnestudio were willing to negotiate a deal as I wanted multiple areas addressed and agreed to pay for 4 sessions all at once — Awesome.
Additionally, the lovely lady performing the ‘hair demolition’ as I like to call it is great! So chatty while being professional and she makes you feel very comfortable in even the most awakward of positions…
