At nearly 30 years old, I finally got my teeth cleaned somewhere other than the dental office where my mother works (and polishes my teeth sometimes!). Considering I’ve only ever received the VIP treatment, TTH had a lot to live up to.
The cleaning was good and thorough and the nice girl that cleaned my teeth was very pleasant! The dentist was also pleasant but I was disappointed that the ‘exam’ was literally just a peek into my mouth. I’m accustomed to each tooth being poked to ensure there’s no softening and no ‘sticky’ spots. I didn’t have any pain to complain about so didn’t press the issue but I feel there’s potential to miss what could be a tiny cavity and it turn into something worse.
Overall good experience but I might ask specifically for the poking and prodding next time. :D

I finally found a good dentist in Amsterdam! Great dentist! They speak English and Dutch. I would strongly suggest going here for a good cleaning or if you have any dental issues. A rule of thumb, even if you brush 2 – 3 times a day and floss every day you still need to visit the dental office for a checkup and cleaning once to twice a year! Good oral hygiene is imperative! Poor oral hygiene can cause gum disease, infection, heart disease, bone loss, and more. I had several bad experience when it came to visiting other dental offices, so I was very grateful to find this dental office. They did an excellent job of cleaning my teeth, so I look forward to going back!
